Terms of Use
Last updated: July 4, 2026
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of dpaperwork (“the Service”), operated by dpaperwork (“we,” “us”), a founder-operated product currently pending incorporation, based in India. By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.
2. Accounts and Workspaces
A Workspace is an isolated environment representing a single company. Any authenticated user can create a Workspace and becomes its Founder, with full control over that Workspace’s settings, billing, and team. A Founder invites Team Members and Domain Owners by email and assigns their role and access; each person’s access is scoped accordingly. You’re responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party
- Upload or process data you don’t have the right to share (e.g. a client’s confidential data without their consent)
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another Workspace or to the Service’s infrastructure
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or abusive communications
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying models or source code of the Service
4. Billing and refunds
dpaperwork charges a flat monthly fee per Workspace, up to a team-member limit for your plan (Starter: up to 10 members, Growth: up to 30 members; larger teams require a custom plan), billed in USD or INR. Your card is charged immediately at signup; there is no free trial. If you’re not satisfied, you can request a full refund within 30 days of your first charge. If a payment fails or you cancel, the Workspace becomes read-only: the Founder can view existing data but cannot create records, run Playbooks, or use Chat until payment is resolved. Workspaces are never automatically deleted for non-payment. Payments are processed by Razorpay; by subscribing you also agree to Razorpay’s applicable terms.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of all data and content you or your team put into your Workspace — Companies, Contacts, Deals, Documents, and everything else you create. We don’t claim ownership of it. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service on your behalf (including sending it to Anthropic’s API for AI-generated features, and to Gmail if you’ve connected it).
6. AI-generated content
Chat responses, drafted Documents, and Playbook actions are generated by AI models (currently Anthropic’s Claude). AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-drafted content — proposals, contracts, client emails — before relying on it or sending it, and for setting appropriate Authority Levels on any Playbook you configure to act autonomously.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your Workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for accounts that violate these terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law. We’ll make reasonable efforts to give notice before termination except where immediate action is warranted (e.g. active abuse).
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” especially during this early-access period, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, dpaperwork will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves, particularly as it moves from early access toward general availability. We’ll update the “last updated” date above, and material changes will be communicated to Workspace Founders directly.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where applicable to data processing. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
