People
Everyone on the team, and every start, leave and exit, in one place
People keeps a record for each person you work with, whether or not they have a login. Group them into teams, start an onboarding or offboarding routine when someone joins or leaves, and handle leave requests with approval. You switch People on per workspace in Settings.
A record for each person
Role, manager, dates and employment type, with pay shown only to people managers.
Routines you approve first
Onboarding and offboarding start from an offer you accept. Access removal stays a task for a person.
Leave with approval
Request, approve or decline. Planning skips days a person is away.
How it works
Add your people
Employees and contractors, with a manager and a team if you want one.
Accept the routine
When someone joins or gets an end date, dpaperwork offers the matching routine.
Approve leave
Managers and team leads approve or decline, and planning follows.
- A record for each employee or contractor: role title, manager, start and end date, and employment type
- A person does not need a login. Adding someone to the directory and inviting them to the workspace are two separate steps that link to each other
- Pay and cost rate are visible only to people with People management access. Everyone else sees the directory without them
- Group people into teams with a lead. A team lead sees their team’s people, tasks and leave, and nothing outside it
- Adding a person offers to start an onboarding routine: accounts, equipment, introductions and first-week tasks. Setting an end date offers an offboarding routine: access removal, handover and final steps
- Both routines are starter templates you can edit. Nothing runs until you accept the offer
- Access removal is raised as a task for a person to do. dpaperwork never switches anyone’s access off for you
- Members request leave for a date range, and their manager or team lead approves or declines. They are notified either way
- Day Planning and workload skip days a person is on approved leave. They see that the person is away, not the reason
- Leave is visible only to the person, People managers and their team lead
- People is switched on per workspace in Settings. Guests are never part of the directory and never see it
Part of one workspace
Every part reads and writes the same records, so nothing has to be kept in sync.
