Ops
Ops covers the running costs and statutory deadlines of the business. It has two tabs: Vendors & renewals and Compliance.
Vendors & renewals
Add the vendor name, amount, billing cycle (monthly, quarterly or annual), next renewal date, an owner, and how many days ahead to be reminded (14 by default).
When a renewal falls inside its reminder window, the vendor's owner gets a reminder (or the Founder, if the owner no longer manages Ops). That gives you time to cancel, renegotiate or budget.
Compliance calendar
Enter your GSTIN and state, GST filing frequency (monthly or quarterly), TAN, and company type.
From that, dpaperwork builds your calendar of due dates:
- GST: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, PMT-06 for quarterly filers, and the annual GSTR-9
- TDS: the monthly deposit and the quarterly 24Q/26Q returns
- ROC, by company type: DIR-3 KYC, DPT-3, AOC-4, MGT-7/7A, or LLP Forms 8 and 11. Partnerships and proprietorships have none.
Founders get a reminder 7 days and 1 day before each open deadline. Mark a deadline Filed when it's done; you can reopen it if needed. Each deadline links to its official source.
The calendar is a reminder aid, not tax advice. Due dates can change by notification or extension, so check the official source or your accountant before you file.
Getting the best out of Ops
- Add every subscription and retainer you pay. The annual ones you forget about are where the surprises are.
- Give each vendor an owner who decides whether to renew.
- Enter the registration once. It's shared with Money, so your invoices and your calendar use the same GSTIN.
- Mark deadlines Filed as you go, so the list shows only what's still open.
- Ask Chat: "Which compliance deadlines are due this month?"
